The only independent awards programme for procurement AI — scored by practitioners against real procurement criteria, not by analyst firms paid by vendors. Winners are selected based on our 7-criteria methodology applied to data collected across 2025–2026.
Each category winner is determined by the highest composite score on our 7-criteria framework: Procurement Fit (25%), Features (20%), Pricing (15%), ERP Integration (15%), Ease of Use (15%), and Support (10%). Scores are derived from hands-on evaluation, customer interviews, and independent research conducted throughout 2025–2026. No vendor payments influence award outcomes. Vendors who were not reviewed at time of award selection are ineligible.
Recognising the single platform that delivered the best combination of procurement capability, enterprise integration, innovation, and customer outcomes across all evaluated criteria.
Coupa's BSM (Business Spend Management) platform continues to lead on procurement-native AI depth. The Coupa Compass AI assistant, native UNSPSC classification engine, and real-time supplier risk integration give it an unmatched end-to-end workflow. Its community intelligence network — drawing on $6T+ in spend data — powers supplier recommendations, benchmark pricing, and risk alerts that no point solution can replicate.
ERP integration with SAP and Oracle is genuinely pre-built and maintained, not a custom middleware project. Customer success quality and procurement-specific training content remains the best in class for enterprise deployments.
Category winners scored highest on the procurement-specific criteria most relevant to their category. A strong CLM score does not make a tool a good spend analytics platform — categories are evaluated independently.
Beyond category winners, we recognise exceptional performance in specific dimensions that matter to procurement leaders evaluating AI investments.
At $35/user/month, Precoro delivers purchase order automation, budget controls, and 3-way matching that would cost 5x as much from an enterprise S2P platform. Best value proposition for mid-market procurement teams with straightforward PO workflows.
Read review →Median time to go-live: 6 weeks from contract signature. Compared to 6–18 months for enterprise S2P platforms, Zip's intake-to-procure approach delivers measurable compliance improvements faster than any other tool in this review set.
Read review →For SAP S/4HANA shops, SAP Ariba's native integration eliminates the middleware complexity that costs other vendors months of implementation time. Native master data sync, workflow integration, and single-sign-on make it the lowest-friction enterprise deployment.
